An outline of the topics YakaOne’s Privacy Policy will cover. The final wording will be written and approved by legal counsel.

1.Who we are

This section will cover:

  • The legal entity responsible for YakaOne and its registered address
  • How to contact us about privacy questions or requests

  • The legal entity name, address and privacy contact have not been provided yet.

2.Information we collect

This section will cover:

  • Information people give us directly, such as through the contact form
  • Account and community information held in the YakaOne app
  • Technical and usage information collected when people visit the website

For the reviewer

  • The website contact form asks for name, email, organization type, subject and message. It does not currently store or send submissions anywhere.
  • The website uses Vercel Web Analytics in production to measure page visits.

3.How we use information

This section will cover:

  • Responding to enquiries and early-access requests
  • Providing and improving the YakaOne platform
  • Keeping the service secure and preventing misuse

This section will cover:

  • The service providers that process information on our behalf

  • The website is hosted on Vercel, which also provides the analytics service.

  • Vercel states that its Web Analytics does not use cookies. Confirm this against Vercel’s current documentation and check the YakaOne app separately.

  • Retention periods for each type of information, and how it is deleted

8.Your rights

This section will cover:

  • Rights to access, correct, delete or export personal information
  • How to make a request and how we respond
  • The right to complain to a data protection authority, where applicable

9.Children’s information

This section will cover:

  • How information about children and young people is handled, including consent from parents or guardians

For the reviewer

  • YakaOne is aimed at schools and youth sports clubs, so this section needs particular care.

10.International transfers

This section will cover:

  • Where information is stored and the safeguards used when it moves between countries

This section will cover:

  • The measures used to protect personal information

12.Changes to this policy

This section will cover:

  • How people will be told about updates, and the date the policy takes effect
